Cricket Australia (CA) announced their 15 members squad for 2023 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup on 6 September 2023.
Australia men's national cricket team appointed Pat Cummins as the captain. and Andrew McDonald (Australia) is Coach of team.
The ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 will be the 13th edition of the Cricket World Cup, a quadrennial ODI cricket tournament is schedule to 5 October 2023 – 19 November 2023.
The Australia national cricket team had participated first time in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 tournaments.

- 1987: Australia won their first World Cup title in 1987, which was co-hosted by India and Pakistan. They defeated England in the final.
- 1999: Australia secured their second title in 1999, held in England. They beat Pakistan in the final.
- 2003: In the 2003 World Cup hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Kenya, Australia won again, defeating India in the final.
- 2007: Australia won their fourth title in the 2007 tournament held in the West Indies, defeating Sri Lanka in the final.
- 2015: In the 2015 World Cup held in Australia and New Zealand, Australia emerged victorious again, this time by beating New Zealand in the final.
