West Indies cricket team's fast bowler Shamar Joseph has been signed by IPL franchise Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) for IPL 2024. Joseph has been included in their squad by LSG as a replacement for Mark Wood. LSG will pay an amount of Rs 3 crore to Joseph.
Indiacricketsschedule.com has learned that the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has decided to manage Wood's workload keeping in mind the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024 and home Test series against West Indies and Sri Lanka. Earlier, the ECB had also stopped Joffra Archer from being a part of the IPL 2024 auction in view of the upcoming T20 World Cup.
