IPL 2024: Yuzvendra Chahal became the first bowler to take 200 wickets in IPL

Indian cricketer to play for the Rajasthan Royals (RR) leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has become the first bowler to take 200 wickets in IPL history. He achieved this feat by dismissing Afghan cricketer to play for the Mumbai Indians Mohammad Nabi in the match against Mumbai Indians (MI) in Jaipur. Dwayne Bravo is in second place with 183 IPL wickets.

Before this, only two bowlers have taken more than 200 wickets in any T20 tournament. That is, Danny Briggs (219) and Samit Patel (208) have done this in England's domestic T20 tournament Vitality Blast.
