The Indian team defeated Bangladesh one-sidedly in the first semi-final of the Asia Cup on Friday, thanks to the excellent bowling of Renuka Thakur (3/10) and Radha Yadav (3/14).
Bangladesh team, batting first, was reduced to 80 runs after losing 8 wickets in 20 overs, which Indian openers Smriti Mandhana and Shefali Verma won in 11 overs without losing any wicket. Mandhana played a brilliant half-century innings.
