The Riyan Parag is set to be named the next Rajasthan Royals (RR) captain ahead of IPL 2026.
RR promote Riyan Parag, This comes after Sanju Samson left for Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
Rajasthan Royals included all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran in the trade.
Indiacricketschedule has learnt that Parag was among the few players interviewed by head coach Kumar Sangakkara before finalising him as captain.
This means RR will get a new captain and a new head coach.
