The home international season for India is set to stretch from the latter part of September 2026 into early March 2027. In that time the team will be involved in four men’s series, an ICC global event and a women’s series with Zimbabwe. Team India has three Test series on the docket over the course of the window, will put on 20 home fixtures and stage the first ever ICC Women’s Champions Trophy.

West Indies Tour of India 2026 Schedule, Venues and IST Timings
The season opens with West Indies playing three ODIs and five T20Is between 27 September and 17 October. All three ODIs are day-night fixtures starting at 2:00 PM IST, while every T20I is a night game beginning at 7:00 PM IST.

Australia Tour of India 2027 Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test Schedule
The centrepiece of the home season is a five-match Test series against Australia, part of the 2025-2027 ICC World Test Championship. It begins in Nagpur on 21 January and finishes in Ahmedabad in early March.

Guwahati hosting a Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test is the notable addition here, with the Assam venue staging both a West Indies ODI in September and an Australia Test in February.
ICC Women's Champions Trophy 2027 in Mumbai and Vadodara
From 14 to 28 February 2027, India is set to put on the first ever ICC Women’s Champions Trophy. All 16 fixtures will be held at two venues: the Vadodara International Cricket Stadium and Mumbai’s Cricket Club of India, or Brabourne Stadium as it is commonly called.
The field of six comprises Australia, England, India, New Zealand, South Africa and Sri Lanka, having earned their spots on the back of their standing in the ICC Women’s T20I Team Rankings as of 6 July 2026. It is a single round-robin affair in the T20 format, with the final between the top two contenders scheduled for the last day of the tournament, 28 February.
Sri Lanka were the initial hosts but the ICC Board approved a switch to India on 1 September 2026; the island nation will still be one of the teams in action. As for ticketing and the complete fixture list, the ICC has not made those available yet.
Which Indian Stadiums Host International Cricket This Season
India has a broad selection of venues in store for the men’s and women’s calendar. From September through to March, one will find action in such cities as Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati, New Chandigarh, Lucknow, Ranchi, Indore, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Raipur, Vadodara, New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Cuttack, Pune, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur and Chennai.
Some of these host more than their share of series; that is the case with Guwahati, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad and Ranchi. And there is New Chandigarh, which is adding to its international credentials since being put on the list of Indian venues.
WPL 2027 Auction and the Domestic T20 League Calendar
BCCI has put the record straight on the Women’s Premier League 2027 auction, setting the date for 28 October 2026 in Kochi. As for WPL 2027, that is to come in the new year. The Indian Premier League 2027 will get under way in March after the Test series with Australia has run its course.
