The England cricket team has announced a new ODI and T20 team squad for the West Indies tour to be held in December 2023. In the ODI team selected to play the 3-match ODI series, only six players from the team playing the ICC World Cup 2023 have got a place in the squad. ODI matches will be played from 3-9 December. Jos Buttler's captaincy remains intact in both formats.
Many new faces have got a chance in the team, including Olly Pope, John Turner and Josh Tongue, who are now making their ODI debut in this series.
The England team will also play a series of five T20 matches on the same tour from 12-21 December. Moeen Ali, the oldest player of the ODI World Cup team, has saved his place in the T-20 team.
