Player exchange for IPL 2024 has started. Lucknow Super Giants have replaced Indian fast bowler Avesh Khan with Rajasthan Royals opening batsman Devdutt Padikkal in their team. Avesh Khan will be seen playing for Rajasthan Royals in the next IPL season.
According to sources, a mutual agreement has been reached between the franchises and the players and BCCI just has to ratify it. Avesh was bought by Lucknow for Rs 10 crore during the IPL 2022 auction, while Padikkal was bought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 7.75 crore. IPL 2023 Both the players were retained by their teams.
