James Anderson becomes the first fast bowler in the world to take 700 test wickets
England cricketer James Anderson has become the first fast bowler in the world to take 700 wickets in Test cricket. On the third day of the ongoing 5th Test match between India and England at the Dharamshala, he got his 700th wicket by trapping Kuldeep Yadav behind the wicket. For this Anderson took 187 matches and 348 innings.
He has taken these wickets at an average of 26.52 and strike rate of 56.9, which includes 5-wicket hauls in 32 innings and 10-wicket hauls in three innings. Behind Anderson is his former teammate fast bowler Stuart Broad, who has 604 wickets in 167 Test matches.
