It rained in the Chinnaswamy Stadium area on Thursday night, May 16, which continued on Friday morning as well. According to the forecast, both rain and storm may occur on Friday evening also.
If the match gets washed out due to rain then RCB's chances of reaching the playoffs will also be destroyed. If RCB bats first and scores 200, they will have to win by at least 18 runs, whereas while chasing the target, they will have to win the match with 11 balls to spare.
