Former Indian fast bowler Zaheer Khan is in talks with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) for a mentorship role. LSG wants to further strengthen its coaching setup for IPL 2025.
News sources have revealed that two other franchises are also keen to contract Zaheer Khan. Zaheer was currently the head of global development of Mumbai Indians (MI).
LSG has been without a mentor since Gautam Gambhir left at the end of 2023. Former South African fast bowler Morne Morkel has now left their coaching staff.
