Indian cricketer and coach Rahul Dravid has been appointed the head coach of Rajasthan Royals (RR). Dravid had earlier also played the role of captain and then head coach and mentor of the team between 2011 and 2015.
Rahul Dravid is joining Rajasthan Royals immediately and will prepare for the big auction of IPL 2025, which is expected to be held in December. He will also work together with Rajasthan Royals (RR) Director of Cricket Kumar Sangakkara to create the overall cricket strategy of the franchise.
Rahul Dravid recently led the Indian team to the T20 World Cup title. He became the head coach of the Indian team in 2021 and during Dravid's tenure, India also reached the top of Test, ODI and T20I rankings.
