The inaugural season of the Assam Premier League 2026 is scheduled to be held on August-September 2026. Franchises from eight cities in Assam.

The eight franchises are Jorhat Stallions, Tezpur Titans, Dibrugarh Warriors, Barak Legends, Nagaon Rangers, Barpeta Braves, Guwahati Royals and Charaideo Sunrisers in the league.
It is expected that the ACA may organize the player auction for the inaugural season of the Assam Premier League in August 2026.
The Assam Cricket Association (ACA) launched the Assam Premier League (APL) on Sunday, June 21. Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma formally unveiled the official logo and trophy of the proposed cricket tournament, as well as the names of the eight franchises.
