India's fast bowler Mohammed Shami is out of cricket due to his ankle injury. He says that I want to return to international cricket soon but before that I want to make sure that he is fully fit.
Mohammed Shami played his last match in the 2023 ODI World Cup and since then he has been out due to ankle injury. He also underwent surgery earlier this year to cure his injury.
Speaking at the Cricket Association of Bengal's (CAB) annual awards ceremony, Shami said, "I am trying to return to international cricket as soon as possible because I know it has been a long time since I was out of the team.
However, I want to make sure that when I return, there is no discomfort. I have to work on my fitness so that there is no discomfort.
