South Africa wicketkeeper-batsman Heinrich Klaasen has announced his retirement from international cricket as he wants to prioritise his T20 league future.

Klaasen played his last game for South Africa in the Champions Trophy semi-final defeat to New Zealand in Lahore in March 2025.

He played 4 Tests, 60 ODIs and 58 T20Is in his seven-year international career.

Klaasen's most memorable innings in the 50-over format is one that people will remember most, a whirlwind 174 off 83 balls against Australia at Centurion.
