Indian all-rounder player Shardul Thakur is set to represent the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League 2026 season after a successful trade from Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). following a trade between the two franchises.
Lucknow Super Giants signed him for ₹2 crore as an injury replacement for IPL 2025. Shardul has played a total of 10 matches in 18 IPL seasons, and has performed exceptionally well on several occasions.
Shardul Thakur has been traded to Mumbai Indians for his current player fee of ₹2 crore.
