West Indies all-rounder player Sherfane Rutherford is set to represent the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League 2026 season after a successful trade from Gujarat Titans (GT).
Acquired by Gujarat Titans in IPL 2025 for a fee of ₹2.6 crore, Rutherford will join MI at his current fee for 2026 season.
The 27-year-old has played 44 T20 Internationals for the West Indies cricket team.
Sherfane Rutherford has played 23 IPL matches so far and has been a part of four teams, he represented Delhi Capitals (DC) in 2019 and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in 2022.
He was part of the Mumbai Indians (MI) squad in 2020 and the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) squad in 2024 but was not included in the playing XI in those seasons.
