Gujarat Giants cricket team has appointed Australian all-rounder Ashleigh Gardner as the captain of the team for WPL 2025. She will replace compatriot Beth Mooney, who was the captain of the team for the last two years.
Ashleigh Gardner said in a conversation with the media, "It is a great honor for me to become the captain of Gujarat Giants. I am very happy to be a part of this team and excited to lead this great group in the upcoming season WPL 2025. We have a good mix of experienced and young players and some of the best Indian talent is also included in the team.
