Vaibhav Suryavanshi started his schooling in Bihar. He is a student of Dr. Mukteshwar Sinha Modesty School, Tajpur, Bihar and is currently studying in Class 8. Vaibhav was interested in cricket since childhood and started showing his talent in the game at an early age. His father Sanjeev Suryavanshi told in an interview.

- Vaibhav started playing cricket at a very young age. His father recognized his talent and encouraged him.
- At the age of 9, he joined a cricket academy in Samastipur, Bihar.
- At the age of 12, he made his Ranji Trophy debut for Bihar, becoming the second-youngest Indian player to do so.
- Vaibhav also played for India's Under-19 team in 2024.
- He scored a century off 58 balls in the Youth Test against Australia Under-19, the fastest century by an Indian player in Youth Tests and the second-fastest overall.
- Suryavanshi made his IPL debut for Rajasthan Royals against Lucknow Super Giants at the age of 14 years and 23 days. He has become the youngest debutant in IPL.
