The Women's Premier League (WPL) is one of the most successful and top women's Twenty20 cricket franchise league in world. WPL is owned and operated by the Board of Control for Cricket in India.
The Women's Premier League is also known as WPL and Tata WPL. Its third season was played in 2025.
The first season of the tournament was held in 2023, in which Mumbai Indians Women won the title of the 1st season by 7 wickets and Delhi Capitals was the runners-up. The final match was played at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. The Player of the Season in WPL 2023 was Hayley Matthews (MIW), and Nat Sciver-Brunt (MIW) was Player of the Match in the final.
