RCB has confirmed the appointment of Dinesh Karthik for IPL 2025 from its official social media handle
Former Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik, who has retired from all formats of cricket, will now be seen in a new avatar for RCB. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has appointed him as their batting coach and mentor for IPL 2025. From next season, Karthik will be seen teaching batting tricks to RCB batsmen.
Dinesh Karthik announced his retirement from all formats of cricket on the occasion of his birthday. Karthik was a part of RCB in IPL 2024 and also played the role of finisher in that team.
In the press release, Karthik said, "I am very excited to get the opportunity to coach at a professional level. This is a new chapter in my life. I hope that my experience as a player will be useful to this group."
